Legal Administrator (£24,000)

MRC is seeking an experienced and proactive Legal Administrator to provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support for the organisation and the Legal Team.

Applicants must have a passion for administration with at least 1 year of experience providing support in a pressurised environment, ideally with experience of working in a legal environment.

Major Donor Fundraiser (£37,000)

Migrants Resource Centre is seeking an ambitious and experienced fundraiser to implement our major donor fundraising strategy.

This role will suit a highly motivated and ambitious fundraiser with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. You’ll be a strategic thinker, able to develop a creative long-term fundraising strategy. You’ll be a great communicator and will develop and initiate new relationships to motivate and influence people at all levels to support the work of Migrants Resource Centre.  You’ll be a dynamic team player, self-motivated and with excellent organisational skills, capable of multi-tasking and meeting deadlines.

Integration and Community Development Coordinator (£28,000)

Migrants Resource Centre is seeking a highly organised, outcomes oriented programme coordinator to deliver our integration and community development work.

You will be financially astute, able to manage a programme including several projects with multiple funding streams. You’ll be creative and able to build relationships with a bewildering variety of people and organisations including government departments, educational institutions, and private businesses. You will be extremely organised and able to balance big picture thinking with management of details. You’ll be a dynamic team player, self-motivated and with excellent organisational skills, capable of multitasking and meeting deadlines.

Information and Career Adviser (£26,764)  (Maternity Cover with possibility to extend)

Migrants Resource Centre is seeking a highly committed careers adviser to provide career advice and information to migrants & refugees under our National Careers Service contract.

This role will suit a highly motivated and ambitious adviser with at least NVQ 4 IAG qualification and with experience of working with migrants and refugees or other disadvantaged communities. You will be a passionate adviser committed to working with a diverse group of clients as well as a great organiser able to ensure that our career advice service is delivered to the highest quality. You will be a dynamic team player, self-motivated and with excellent organisational skills, capable of multi-tasking and meeting deadlines.

ESOL Coordinator (£28,000)

Migrants Resource Centre is seeking a committed ESOL teacher with curriculum development and programme coordination experience to oversee our English language programme.

This role will suit a highly motivated and ambitious ESOL teacher with experience developing curricula and coordinating volunteer teachers. You’ll be a passionate teacher committed to working with a diverse group of students as well as a great organiser able to ensure that our whole programme is delivered to the highest quality. Volunteers are needed to support our administration team. We are looking for people with good communication skills (knowledge of other languages would be very useful) to greet our clients and provide vital support to the administration of the charity.

Volunteers are needed to assist our legal team  under the direct supervision of the Legal Services Manager.

Job Search Support Group Volunteer

Volunteers are needed to assist with Job seeker support, helping the centre users  improve their CV, setup email accounts, complete online job applications or simply search for jobs . We are looking for people with excellent interpersonal and communication skills (knowledge of other languages would be very useful), those who have patience and good listening skills and can help unemployed adults on a one-to-one basis.

We currently have volunteer placement opportunities providing support in our legal team at Derry House, our advice office in Westminster. The following opportunities are available:

Legal Administration Volunteer

We are looking to recruit volunteers to assist with translation work, interviewing and assessing clients and day to day tasks to ensure the smooth running of drop in advice sessions. Knowledge of an additional language is essential, but community languages such as Farsi and Bengali would be an asset.
