We obtain personal information from you when you enquire about our activities, make a donation or otherwise provide us with personal information. We may also receive information about you from third parties, for example a friend may ask that we supply you with information or you may work for an organisation that we think might be interested in our work.

How do we use this information?

We will use your personal information to provide you with the services, products or information you have requested, for administration purposes and to further our charitable aims, including for fundraising activities. We use a secure server when you make a donation via our website. However, as no data transmission over the internet is guaranteed to be secure, while we have taken appropriate steps we can not ensure or warrant the security of the information you send to us and you do so at your own risk.

Once the data has been received, Migrants Resource Centre takes appropriate measures to ensure that any information is kept securely, accurate and up to date and kept only for so long as is necessary for the purposes for which it is used.

Advice Line

If you contact our advice line, you may choose to provide details of a personal nature. Only the caseworkers use your personal information, and only for the purposes of dealing with your enquiry/enquiries. They will not pass on your personal details to anyone else without your express permission.

Your personal information and details of the enquiries received are stored on a secure database. If for any reason you wish to have your personal details removed from their records, please contact the advice line.
